Anyone can make a light come on. The difference shows in the finish — whether the fixtures line up, whether the light lands where it was meant to, and whether the inside of the panel survives an inspector taking the cover off. Every photograph below is Kyle's own work.
Uplighting across the whole front elevation, fixtures set back into the beds so you see light on the brick rather than the source. Exterior-rated circuits, buried runs, and a timer so the homeowner never thinks about it again. The gables and the entry are lit deliberately instead of flooded.
Gooseneck fixtures over the entries and along the frontage, mounted level and spaced to the bays rather than to whatever stud was handy. Exterior-rated boxes behind each backplate, and the runs coordinated with the siding so nothing is surface-chased across new board and batten.
Recessed cans laid out to the seating plan, sconces along the brick, and track over the service side. Circuits split so the room runs bright for cleaning and low for service without rewiring anything.
Conductors landed, dressed and run around to the bus instead of crossed over the breakers. Neutrals and grounds kept separate, terminated one per lug. This is what a panel should look like with the cover off — and it is the first thing a home inspector photographs.
